With the support of the Scottish Arts Council Youth Music Initiative, Highlands and Islands arts agency HI-Arts and the Business Gateway, Beyond will manage four, three date tours taking place between July 2010 and January 2011 covering all four corners of Highlands from Shetland to Skye, and Orkney to Fort William.
With song writing workshops from 2pm with Ciaran Gribbin who has co-written songs for Madonna and scored Paramount Film Soundtrack. To book workshop places please email ymitour@gmail.com
The first tour visits Inverness' Ironworks on Friday 13th August where you will be given the chance to check out some of the most exciting young singer-songwriters from the Highlands of Scotland.
Moteh Parrot, originally from Inverness now studying in Aberdeen, was previously frontman of Inverness act The Soundtrack and is now starting his solo career.
Reuben Quinn, originally from Shetland now residing in Glasgow, fronts well known Glasgow band Oscar Charlie. Heading out on his own for this tour will give you the opportunity to hear his songs in a stripped down state.
Mike Nisbet is an Oban native now creating a buzz in the Central Belt and further afield.
