With there now only being 5 months until Hogmanay, the Ironworks are delighted to share the details of their much-anticipated Hogmanay Bash.
Monday 31 December will see the venue open their doors for the Highland’s biggest indoor party! For the 5th year running, the Ironworks is thrilled that Rhythmnreel will be on stage to take in the bells for 2019. Rhythmnreel are a Celtic rock/Traditional Scottish & covers band based in the Highlands since 1992. The band have grown a large and loyal following particularly throughout the Highlands and Islands and play a diverse range of gigs and festivals each year.
Local father/son duo The Cowanswill be supporting the band. Davy was one of the founder members of the Highland Celtic Rock band Coinneach who recorded 3 critically acclaimed albums in the late 90’s & into the millennium and has been playing with his son Sam for almost two years.
Mike Brown, Bass Player and co-founder of the Rhythmnreel, expressed his excitement, noting, “We can’t think of a better way to finish off a packed 2018 than to be performing at the Highland’s biggest indoor Hogmanay party at the Ironworks with our extended 9-piece festival line up. We’re also delighted to be joined by our good friends Davy & Sam Cowan with their unique brand of Country/Folk/Punk classics.”
This year’s event will see the welcome introduction of a seated area, where tables of 10 will be set up. Any group booking of 10 will only pay for 9! These numbers will be limited, but also includes access to your own section of the bar.
