It is with the great disappointment that we at Connect have had to make the difficult decision and postpone our event on Friday 19th November featuring Sasha.
As you will all be aware, the Scottish Government took the decision to introduce the COVID-19 vaccination passport on Monday 18th October.
With a large amount of our followers still unvaccinated or STILL not had the opportunity to have their second vaccination, so many people are unfairly losing out on the opportunity to attend the event.
We understand the frustration this may cause for those who have already purchased a ticket, but we need to consider the frustration of others also who would want to attend the event, but can’t through NO choice of their own, with their decision already been made for them by our Government.
This by far was the hardest decision we have ever had to make at Connect, and we hope that you understand the reasons on us postponing the event.
As we speak, we are already in talks with Sasha’s agents to organise a re scheduled date for the show to take place. Below you will see a statement from Sasha’s party.
“We completely understand and support the difficult decision made by the team at Connect to postpone the show on the 19th. We will be working closely with the guys at Connect over the next few days to arrange a new date for Sasha as soon as possible”
For those who have already purchased a ticket for the event, you will be offered a full refund on your ticket purchase. For those who wish to hold onto their ticket, this will be valid for the re scheduled date.
Once again, we can only apologise to you all on the difficult decision we have had to make.
It is a legal requirement to show your double vaccination status. Unless you are medically exempt you must show proof of double vaccination in order to enter this event.
How do I get a vaccine passport? A vaccine passport is proof that you have had a double vaccination. Further details on how to get this is here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-certification-scheme-information-for-customers/pages/prove-vaccine-status/
