Fatherson are a three piece who have been making waves in the Scottish music scene following a string of supports with bands such as Frightened Rabbit, Feeder, Twin Atlantic and Idlewild.

The group have operated under the name Fatherson since December 2011 and have released two singles. “Hometown”, released through King Tuts Recordings showcases the band’s ability to write anthemic indie songs that will be running around your head for weeks to come. April of this year also saw the band release “First Born”, which allowed the them to work on their previous success, building a fanbase all over the country.

Thanks to their inclusion on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing playlist, Fatherson are set to continue their progress with extensive touring plans for the rest of the year and work on their debut album.
